HerbEra ships fifty identically-branded "Detox Blend" SKUs, one named after every US state — including this "Utah Detox Blend." There is no publicly disclosed formulation difference tied to the state name; the pattern is a textbook SEO/geo-targeting play that surfaces the product for "detox supplement utah"-style queries without offering a state-specific formula or ingredient variance to justify the naming. Compounding that, the "detox" positioning itself is an unverified medical claim: the liver, kidneys, gut lining, lymphatic system, and skin already perform detoxification continuously in every healthy person, and no oral supplement has cleared the FDA/EMA evidentiary bar for the claim of "detoxifying" the body. Cochrane and NIH NCCIH reviews of commercial "detox" products have consistently concluded that human clinical evidence is absent or of poor methodological quality. Per-herb doses, extraction ratios, standardization percentages, and full quantitative facts panels are not disclosed at the title-level for this SKU, and there is no per-lot heavy-metal or microbial COA published for it. Botanical safety at unstated doses cannot be independently verified. Auto-failed under unverified_medical_claim for the "detox" positioning and would additionally trip misleading_naming for the state-brand rotation. Not listable in current form. Would require: (1) dropping "detox" from the product name and claims, (2) collapsing the 50-SKU rotation into a single honestly-named product, (3) full quantitative ingredient disclosure, and (4) third-party COAs.
The Vyvata score's Evidence dimension measures the quality of published RCT support for a product's active ingredients at the label dose. Our source hierarchy: double-blind RCTs in MEDLINE-indexed journals > single-blind RCTs > open-label trials > observational studies > mechanism papers > N=1 case studies (anecdotes). Predatory journals and manufacturer-authored studies without independent replication are weighted down.
Product-specific evidence citations for this item are embedded in the analysis text on the "Analysis" tab. For the full framework and evidence hierarchy, see the methodology page.
FAQ data has not been generated for this product yet. See the site FAQ for general questions.
The Vyvata score measures product integrity against a published rubric, not customer sentiment. Vyvata does not aggregate, republish, or license third-party reviews — the links below open search pages on their respective platforms.
Every VSF-related metafield surfaced verbatim. Nothing hidden. If you spot data that looks wrong, let us know.
Every score is set from the published rubric, audit-logged, and rescored whenever new evidence emerges (published trials, updated labels, third-party testing releases). Every vendor is scored on the same criteria — no pay-to-play. See our editorial-independence disclosure for the full policy, including brands with an editorial relationship to this site.
