Methodology

How we grade what you put in your body.

Evidence over marketing. Independent of the brands being scored.

The principle

Three commitments that govern every score.

Every product is graded the same way. Public evidence first. Brand cooperation is welcome but never required.

Evidence-led

Claims are checked against PubMed, FDA, NSF, and USP. Marketing language doesn't score.

Independent

We score brands whether they participate or not. There is no pay-to-play tier.

Live

Scores recompute when underlying evidence changes — a warning letter, a new study, a lapsed certification — all of it moves the number.

What the score measures

Six dimensions. One score.

Every product is graded on the same six dimensions. Same evidence sources, every time, no exceptions.

Evidence Quality

How a score becomes a tier

Four tiers. Clear thresholds.

75–89

Verified

Credible, practitioner-grade.

60–74

Standard

Acceptable with documented gaps.

0–59

Rejected

Missing critical data or open safety issues.
