USP Labs Jack3d is one of the most safety-consequential brand names in the modern supplement industry. Original Jack3d (formulation era 2008-2013) contained DMAA (1,3-dimethylamylamine), a synthetic stimulant that the FDA banned from supplements in 2013 after DMAA was linked to multiple deaths including a 22-year-old US Army soldier and a 30-year-old marathon runner. The FDA's enforcement action against USP Labs also included criminal indictments of company executives, resulting in guilty pleas for conspiracy to defraud the FDA. Modern reformulated Jack3d does not contain DMAA, but the brand name itself carries safety-history weight — a reasonable buyer should evaluate this SKU with awareness of the brand's regulatory record. Even setting aside the historical context, Jack3d's current formulation follows the pre-workout category default: proprietary stimulant matrix, undisclosed individual doses.
