A consumer-grade Bluetooth tape measure that syncs body circumferences to the Arboleaf app, computes derived body-composition estimates, and connects to Apple Health, Google Fit, and Fitbit. As a category, tape measurements of waist, hip, thigh, arm, and neck are legitimately useful — waist circumference in particular has strong outcome-linked evidence as a cardiometabolic risk marker, arguably better than BMI for many purposes. The scoring drag is on the 'body composition stats' framing: derived-composition estimates from circumference-only measurements are indirect predictions (Navy method, Jackson-Pollock), not measurements — they should not be presented at the same confidence as DEXA or BIA.
