Arboleaf is a legitimate US consumer brand competing directly with Renpho and Withings in the mid-tier segmental-scale segment. Analytical validity of consumer 8-electrode BIA is a real weakness — even the best consumer BIA devices show meaningful error against the DEXA reference standard (typical error 3-8% for body fat % at the individual level, per multiple published comparison studies), and hydration status, food intake timing, and skin condition all affect the reading. Trend tracking day-over-day is more reliable than any single measurement. Not FDA-cleared (registered as a general wellness device, not a medical scale). App support and data export via the Arboleaf app is present. Would move to Verified 70+ with published third-party accuracy validation against DEXA, extended warranty, and clear disclosure of measurement error bounds.
