Evergreen Apothecary Nettle Leaf Tincture is single-ingredient Urtica dioica leaf. Nettle leaf has traditional-use precedent for seasonal allergies (rhinitis), joint discomfort, mineral tonic use, and general nutritive tonic. Modern evidence: Mittman 1990 (Planta Med) tested freeze-dried nettle leaf at 300 mg for allergic rhinitis in a small RCT with modest symptom improvement; Roschek 2009 documented in vitro histamine-receptor and mast-cell degranulation activity. Nettle leaf is nutritionally rich in magnesium, iron, calcium, potassium, silica, chlorophyll, and flavonoids — but the tincture format concentrates lipophilic/alcohol-soluble compounds and delivers less of the mineral fraction than food-form nettle tea or capsules. Considered safe in pregnancy in traditional herbal practice at food-form doses. Single-ingredient honest formulation, plausible traditional-use rationale, strong safety profile. Standard tier.
