The core premise — that oral supplements can meaningfully alkalinize systemic body pH — is not supported by human physiology or clinical evidence. Blood pH is homeostatically maintained at 7.35-7.45 by the kidneys and respiratory system regardless of dietary intake; only urine pH varies with diet, and urine pH is not a health outcome. The 'acid-alkaline diet' or 'pH-balancing supplement' framing is a well-documented pseudoscientific model.
