Inspired Nutraceuticals AMINO is a vegan essential amino acid (EAA) formula featuring all nine EAAs plus electrolytes and AstraGin. The category is legitimate — EAAs at 5-15 g contain the same anabolic-signaling amino acids as a whey scoop with less caloric load — but EAA supplementation is genuinely useful in a narrow window: for people who cannot tolerate dairy, who want intra-workout aminos without disrupting a fast, or who want to sip aminos during long training sessions. For anyone eating adequate daily protein from food or whey, EAAs are largely redundant. Inspired is one of the more disclosed-dose brands in this space, and the vegan positioning is honest (whey isolate would be non-vegan). The AstraGin add-in is under-supported by RCTs — the branded ingredient markets absorption enhancement but human evidence for meaningful uplift is thin. Formulation is fine, transparency is above average for the category. A defensible Standard-tier pick with real use cases; not category-leading because EAA products in general struggle to differentiate on RCT evidence.
