TUDCA (tauroursodeoxycholic acid) is a bile acid derivative with legitimate pharmaceutical use as a liver-support compound. It is UDCA (ursodiol) conjugated with taurine, delivering similar cholestasis-reducing and hepatocyte-protective effects. TUDCA has Grade B evidence for liver support in specific clinical contexts (cholestatic conditions, drug-induced liver injury adjunct) at 500-1500 mg/day, and Grade C evidence for the biohacker-adjacent 'liver support during PED cycles' use case that drives its bodybuilding-space marketing. InnovaPharm's TUDCA is a single-active supplement. The critical variables are (1) actual TUDCA content vs. UDCA or nicotinamide substitution (the TUDCA supply chain has quality issues), and (2) per-capsule dose.
