Incrediwear is a US-based recovery-apparel brand whose signature claim is that fabric embedded with germanium and carbon microparticles improves peripheral blood flow via infrared re-emission from body heat, thereby accelerating healing and reducing recovery time. That mechanistic claim substantially exceeds the published evidence. The company has sponsored small studies (thermographic imaging showing skin-surface warmth changes, and industry-funded proof-of-concept pilots) but there are no independent large-scale RCTs demonstrating clinically meaningful acceleration of soft-tissue healing versus a matched control compression garment, and the germanium-and-carbon infrared-emission mechanism as a therapy is not supported by controlled physiological data at the doses and duration realistically achievable through fabric contact. That said, the garment itself is a competently-constructed lightweight compression elbow sleeve — breathable, low-profile, non-slip — and mild compression (10-20 mmHg range typical for consumer sleeves) does have modest evidence for perceived recovery, proprioceptive feedback, and swelling control after activity. Standard 56 reflects that the sleeve as a compression garment is legitimate and useful, while the specific brand claim ('semiconductor-fabric accelerates healing') is a marketing overreach that we flag rather than endorse. Would move to Standard 62+ with retracted/toned-down healing-acceleration claims, and Verified only with independent RCT evidence for the fabric-specific mechanism.
