Manufacturer-reported clinical performance is 93% sensitivity for symptomatic infection and 100% specificity per the FDA EUA submission, with real-world validation studies (Soni et al. 2023, and multiple independent evaluations) confirming performance within the expected range for rapid antigen tests — high specificity, sensitivity strongest 1-4 days after symptom onset and lower in pre-symptomatic or very early infection. Nasal-swab collection is well-tolerated and results are read visually in 15 minutes. a third-party marketplace listing is a reseller (not the manufacturer), which introduces some transparency friction — expiration dating and lot handling depend on how a third-party marketplace listing sources and stores inventory.
