The formulation choices are sensible: vitamin C is a required cofactor for endogenous collagen synthesis, biotin and zinc support keratin/skin turnover, and hydrolyzed peptides are the collagen form with the strongest human RCT evidence for skin elasticity and hydration (Choi 2019 meta-analysis, Bolke 2019 RCT). The two-gummy-per-day format constrains the achievable peptide dose — clinical trials showing skin benefits generally use 2.5-10 g of collagen peptides per day, and a two-gummy serving typically delivers 1-2.5 g, likely on the low end of clinically meaningful.
