Bucked Up (Das Labs) is a legitimate mid-tier US sports-nutrition brand that publishes fully-disclosed formulas rather than proprietary blends — a real transparency win in a category dominated by opaque "energy matrix" prop blends. Woke AF is the brand's high-stimulant pre-workout, built around 6 g L-citrulline (meets the 6-8 g clinical range for nitric-oxide-mediated pump and endurance benefit; see Bailey 2015, Perez-Guisado 2010), 2 g beta-alanine (below the 3.2-6.4 g dose used in the ISSN position stand for chronic loading, but usable if stacked across the day), and a stimulant matrix built on ~333 mg caffeine anhydrous plus dicaffeine malate and methylliberine — putting the effective caffeine load at the upper end of what's considered safe in a single serving for caffeine-tolerant users. Evidence-supported ingredients (citrulline, beta-alanine, caffeine, alpha-GPC at 200 mg) share the label with weaker choices: deer antler velvet is a marketing signature but has no controlled evidence for pre-workout endpoints in humans, and "AlphaSize" alpha-GPC is at the sub-cognitive-effect dose (600 mg is the typical clinical dose for acute focus effects). Manufacturing is done in cGMP-registered US facilities and Bucked Up publishes lot COAs on request. No third-party certification (Informed Sport, NSF Certified for Sport) is standard on the line, which is a real gap for competitive athletes. Would move to Verified 70+ with a full Informed Sport certification, published lot COAs, and dropping the sub-effective alpha-GPC / deer antler velvet in favor of clinically-dosed inputs.
The Vyvata score's Evidence dimension measures the quality of published RCT support for a product's active ingredients at the label dose. Our source hierarchy: double-blind RCTs in MEDLINE-indexed journals > single-blind RCTs > open-label trials > observational studies > mechanism papers > N=1 case studies (anecdotes). Predatory journals and manufacturer-authored studies without independent replication are weighted down.
Product-specific evidence citations for this item are embedded in the analysis text on the "Analysis" tab. For the full framework and evidence hierarchy, see the methodology page.

The Vyvata score measures product integrity against a published rubric, not customer sentiment. Vyvata does not aggregate, republish, or license third-party reviews — the links below open search pages on their respective platforms.
Every VSF-related metafield surfaced verbatim. Nothing hidden. If you spot data that looks wrong, let us know.
Every score is set from the published rubric, audit-logged, and rescored whenever new evidence emerges (published trials, updated labels, third-party testing releases). Every vendor is scored on the same criteria — no pay-to-play. See our editorial-independence disclosure for the full policy, including brands with an editorial relationship to this site.
