ABĒCA Naturals 'Blood Pressure Tincture' is a two-herb liquid blend of lemon balm (Melissa officinalis) and yarrow (Achillea millefolium) marketed to 'alleviate elevated blood pressure caused by high levels of stress' and 'keep blood pressure from rising too much due to stress.' Blood pressure is a diagnosed medical condition (hypertension is a major cardiovascular risk factor requiring physician evaluation and treatment) and product-name framing plus outcome claims are exactly the disease-adjacent structure the FDA warns against. Neither lemon balm nor yarrow has controlled human RCT evidence for meaningful blood-pressure reduction; lemon balm has some anxiolytic and mild-hypnotic evidence at studied doses (Cases 2011), and yarrow has traditional use with sparse modern clinical validation.
