Alfa Libi Max is a male-enhancement / aphrodisiac capsule product from an obscure seller ('Max*s Department Store' — a generic Shopify reseller name with no supplement-industry infrastructure). Male-enhancement supplements are one of the two highest-risk supplement categories for undisclosed pharmaceutical adulteration in the FDA warning-letter and Tainted Products database. Over the past decade, FDA has issued hundreds of alerts on male-enhancement supplements found to contain undisclosed sildenafil (Viagra), tadalafil (Cialis), vardenafil (Levitra), or their analogs — real prescription PDE5 inhibitors that can produce dangerous hypotension when combined with nitrate medications (contraindicated combination), with other blood-pressure medications, or in patients with underlying cardiac disease. The dangerous combination has produced documented cardiac deaths.
