A rubidium chloride concentrate marketed as modifying 'coupling between circadian oscillators' and equalising 'circadian rhythm even for stressed organisms.' Rubidium is an alkali metal not classified as essential for humans by any mainstream nutritional-science body. Trace amounts occur in food and water, but no deficiency state exists and no metabolic pathway requires it. Rubidium chloride has some historical psychiatric-research interest (small studies in depression in the 1970s-80s at pharmacological doses of 700-1000 mg elemental rubidium daily) but was abandoned in favour of better-tolerated medications.
