VeggieVerve/Livingston Naturals 'Maximum Strength' black seed oil liquid discloses 1500 mg total with 1.2% thymoquinone (the active in Nigella sativa/black seed) and blends with oil of oregano, moringa, sea moss, soursop leaf, turmeric, and black pepper. Black seed oil has moderate ingredient-level evidence: Razmpoosh 2019 and Amin 2015 meta-analyses show modest improvements in glycemic and lipid markers at 1-2 g/day of oil. 1500 mg with 1.2% thymoquinone (~18 mg TQ) is roughly in the studied range. Positive: thymoquinone percentage disclosed, total oil dose disclosed. Concerns: (1) soursop leaf contains annonacin, a mitochondrial toxin associated with atypical Parkinsonism in Guadeloupe epidemiological studies (Caparros-Lefebvre 1999) — this is a real safety_concern for chronic use of any soursop-containing product; (2) multi-herb blend format dilutes each ingredient's individual dose; (3) 'maximum strength' is marketing language. Not autofailing because black seed oil disclosure is meaningfully better than most VeggieVerve SKUs, but soursop safety concern and multi-herb dilution pull the score into low Rejected.
