The Vyvata Scoring Team
Collective editorial byline · rubric application, evidence crawl, ranking maintenance
The Vyvata Scoring Team is the collective editorial output that produces every product score, every comparison page, and every category ranking on this site. The team operates under a public, evidence-first policy: the same rubric, the same process for resolving scoring disagreements, and an audit trail that makes any manipulation visible.
Who is on the Scoring Team
The Vyvata Scoring Team applies the published six-dimension rubric the same way to every listed product. No listed brand is scored under a special rule.
Scoring itself is performed by evidence-anchored subagents operating under SCORING-AGENT-PROMPT-STANDARDS.md — the same standards on every product, no brand-preferential prompting allowed. Each scoring pass writes a batch-scoring JSON to the public repository that documents per-product reasoning against the rubric. A supplier-name leakage linter refuses to apply any scoring JSON containing distributor names in user-facing text.
The six-dimension rubric
- Evidence — RCT quality supporting the active ingredients at the label dose. Sub-therapeutic or unstudied doses trigger the sub-therapeutic-dose autofail.
- Formulation — dose adequacy, bioavailability form (e.g. magnesium glycinate over oxide, methylfolate over folic acid on relevant products), ingredient redundancy, delivery format.
- Manufacturing — third-party testing (NSF, USP, Informed Sport), GMP compliance, facility audits.
- Safety — adverse-event profile, contraindications, interaction warnings, dose ceiling relative to UL.
- Transparency — full dose disclosure vs proprietary blends, honest marketing vs unverified medical claims. Proprietary blends that hide dose autofail.
- Sustainability — sourcing, packaging, corporate practice, third-party ESG signals.
Tier bands
- Elite (85+) — anchor products, top of category. Cited peer-reviewed evidence at studied dose, best-form ingredients, transparent manufacturing, defensible on every dimension.
- Verified (70–84) — passing on all six dimensions. No autofails, real evidence base, no dose or transparency red flags.
- Standard (55–69) — legitimate products with rubric-flagged weaknesses. Often a formulation or transparency issue that keeps them out of Verified.
- Rejected (< 55) — autofail triggered (proprietary blend hides dose, unverified medical/disease claim, sub-therapeutic dose, misleading naming, safety concern, out-of-scope for the biohacking rubric). Rejected products stay listed with their honest tier and reasoning visible.
Editorial independence
The Scoring Team's binding editorial-independence policy is documented publicly at SCORING-INTEGRITY.md. It documents the audit trail that makes silent overrides detectable and the process for handling a scoring disagreement. Every listed brand is scored on the same rubric.
Every score in this catalog is derived from the rubric. No score is a business decision. No score is a favor. No score is adjusted because a brand asked, threatened, subscribed, or sponsored.
